Privacy policy
Aldergate Elevator respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through newmarketelevator.com, why we collect it and the choices you have. We follow the principles of Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
When you request a quote or call us we collect your name, phone number, email address (if given), the property address or city, whether the job is residential or commercial, and the details and timing of the work you need.
Like most websites, our servers and our security provider (Cloudflare) automatically log technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and automated abuse.
Phone calls
Calls to our business line are answered by our intake line and may be recorded and transcribed so that the details of your job reach the right person accurately. Recordings are used only to respond to your request and to improve service quality.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, prepare quotes, fulfil orders and provide support.
- To keep the website secure and prevent fraud and spam.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (website hosting, security, telephone, payment processing and delivery), and only as needed for those services, or where the law requires it. Some providers may store data outside Canada, where it is subject to local law.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and protect it with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards.
Your rights
You may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to its use (subject to legal limits). To make a request or ask a question, call 1-844-797-6777 or use the contact options on our website.
